Yesterday I wrote to you about the importance of the inner-game of wealth.
Some didn’t quite get the analogy. So, today I’m going to expand on it as well as give you a couple of examples so you absolutely get it.
Have you ever heard someone assert that a lack of money was the problem? For instance, they would say,
“I can’t buy a new car because I don’t have the money.” Or “I can’t buy a house because I don’t have the money.”
You get the drift…
Hear this… The LACK of money is never ever the problem. The lack of money is merely a symptom that is going on underneath.
Lack of money is the effect, but what is the root cause?
We live in a world of cause and effect. Money is an effect, wealth is an effect, health is an effect, being sick is an effect, being fat is an effect.
You have to start looking at the CAUSE.
Here’s an example so you can totally get this…
Say you’ve written a letter on your PC. You print it out, look at the hard-copy and find a typo. You take out your magic eraser and you erase it, hit print again, same thing – a typo.
How could this be? You erased it.
You do it again, again and again… Same result.
What’s happening here is that you can’t change the printout in the physical world, you have to go back and change the program for you to get a different result.
Good, let’s move on…
Right now you have what I call your own money-DNA, which is a specific program on how you feel about success and money which is embedded in your subconscious mind.
…And like the PC example I gave you just then, unless you go and change the program, you’ll never change the result.
So what is YOUR money-DNA programming look like and where did it come from?
The answer is quite simple really, your money-DNA was primarily established on the information or programming you received in the past, especially as a young child.
Those that would have influenced you would have likely to have been parents, siblings, authority figures, teachers, religious leaders, the media and your culture.
The challenge that I find most people have with discovering their money-DNA is that because it’s in your subconscious you can’t identify the areas that you need to work on consciously.
Thank about that…
Whatever you think consciously that your challenge might be, it probably isn’t that – and here’s why, because consciously you’re coming from an ego state.
I’m not going to get too deep into this because it will freak you out, but here’s the simple version of what I’m talking about.
Thought leads to feeling, feelings lead to action, action leads to results.
In all likelihood, your money-DNA was established when you were young, by your parents. Here’s a question for you, who established their money-DNA?
It was their parents, your grandparents.
Here’s a crazy thought, your money-DNA is the same as your grandparents… Only with the mod-cons of this generation.
This reminds me of a story which perfectly reflects this…
A woman prepares a ham for dinner by cutting off both ends. Her bewildered husband asks why she cut off the ends… She replies, “That’s how my mum cooked it.”
Well it just so happens that her mum was coming for dinner that night. So they asked her why she cut off the ends of her ham. Mum replies, “That’s how my mum cooked it.”
Intrigued, they decided to call grandma on the phone and asked why she cut the ends off of ham. Her answer, “Because my pan was too small.”
Right now my friend, you’re operating on programming of generations that have gone before you. Beliefs, values and habits that you just acquired over time… That perhaps are not serving you right now.
The good news is, that the first level of change is AWARENESS. You have to be AWARE that you have a problem before you can actually start working towards a solution.
What you have to do is recondition your subconscious mind, only then can you change your money-DNA to start printing out the results that you want to show up in your life AUTOMATICALLY.
You want the good news? You’re already doing it automatically now to get the mediocre results. You just have to figure out how to switch.

All of the above have created your current money-DNA. So wouldn’t it be clever to use them and recreate it from the start and switch your money-DNA from LACK to AMAZING ABUNDANCE?
